The day started on a good note for Pakistan as skipper Babar Azam elected to bowl. However, he got dismissed by Asif Ali. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul had a strong start scoring 54 runs in the first five overs. India lost a lot of wickets in the mid-overs. Pakistan was chasing 182 runs and their batter Rizwan hit 71 runs off 51 deliveries that helped Pakistan with their five-wicket victory against India. However, the team didn’t have a good start as Babar Azam could score only 14 runs and got dismissed in the fourth over by Ravi Bishnoi. Fakhar Zaman didn’t make a good impression in today’s match as he could muster only 15 runs. Rizwan and Nawaz’s partnership added 84 runs unless both were dismissed on 41 runs. In the last two overs, Pakistan needed 26 runs in two overs and Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave out 19 runs and that’s when the victory started to slip from India’s hands. Asif Ali almost made Pakistan win the match after Arshdeep Singh dropped a dolly off him. Arshdeep did dismiss him with two balls and two wickets to spare. The batters then ran hard and took two runs in the next ball to script the victory by 5 wickets.
