Jayaram returns, channeling 90s charm in *Ashakal Aayiram*. This feel-good drama shines with meta-humor and stellar comic timing in the first half. However, the narrative loses steam post-intermission, becoming repetitive and tedious. While Jayaram carries the weight, the father-son dynamic feels underutilized. It’s a nostalgic, breezy watch for die-hard fans, but unfortunately, the spark fades long before the final credits roll.
