## The Director Who Refused to Be an Actor

Most star kids follow the most obvious path — act first, figure the rest out later. Aryan chose to step back, study seriously, and return with a clear purpose: to **direct**, not perform. After completing his degree in film and television production abroad, he came back to India not as a hero, but as the man behind the camera.

His debut Netflix series, *The Ba***ds of Bollywood*, wasn’t just watched — it was **awarded**. At the prestigious **Pinkvilla Screen & Style Icons (PSSI) Awards 2026**, Aryan took home the **Best Director (OTT)** trophy. The show also won **Best OTT Series**, and lead actor Lakshya was honoured with Best Actor Male Popular Choice (OTT). That’s a remarkable sweep for a first-time creator.

What makes this even more special is how organic the journey feels. Aryan didn’t rush. He didn’t chase the spotlight. He built quietly — and arrived loudly.

## What’s Next for Aryan Khan?

According to insiders, Aryan is currently writing the script for his **second feature**, which will soon enter the casting stage. And here’s the exciting part — he is reportedly set to direct none other than **Shah Rukh Khan himself** in a full-fledged feature film as his third project. Father and son — but this time, it’s the son calling “action.”
