Arsenal have their eyes set on signing Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk after his impressive performances in the Champions League this season. The youngster is very highly rated, and the race to sign him is still open as things stand.

A price tag in the region of €50/60 million has been rumoured. However, Shakhtar want in excess of that amount in order to let go of their prized asset.

Mykhaylo Mudryk on the radar of Arsenal for 2023 transfer

A switch during the January transfer window cannot be ruled out, since the team wants to sign reinforcements after the World Cup. As of yet, there is no official bid even though there is strong interest from the North London club.

The Ukrainian was the fastest player during the Champions League group stage, and is showing heaps of potential. There are strong links between him and the Premier League side, especially since he has expressed his interest in the transfer.

Arsenal sporting director Edu has been working hard on making it possible, but the operation isn’t complete just yet. They will have to launch a significant offer to persuade Shakhtar for Mykhaylo Mudryk. And it now remains to be seen whether the move will happen in January or during the summer.
