Arsenal’s offer worth €40 million plus €20 million for Mykhaylo Mudryk has been turned down by Shakhtar Donetsk. The Ukrainian club has made it clear that they want much more than the amount offered to part with their star player.
The price tag quoted for the youngster is €100 million, which would be a massive sale for them. However, that amount has not been matched as of yet by the Premier League side.
Mykhaylo Mudryk transfer talks to continue with Arsenal
Despite having their opening offer rejected, Arsenal are not backing down in their pursuit of the forward. They are planning to make a second offer in the coming days, and are in contact with the player over the move.
Personal terms are not expected to be an issue since Mykhaylo Mudryk is keen to join Arsenal. But, an agreement between the two clubs is essential for the transfer to go through.
Mikel Arteta’s squad could soon have a very exciting new talent, which would take him one step closer to having the best squad in the world. The team already consists of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Emile Smith Rowe, Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard and Eddie Nketiah.
By the looks of things, they are certain to return to the Champions League next year. And in the summer, they could end the season as Premier League champions if things continue to work out in their favour.
