Arsenal anticipating £50 million bonus if they qualify for Champions League 22/23

Arsenal players could receive a massive bonus if they are able to secure Champions League qualification at the end of the season. The team is currently in fourth place, and is in a great position to build on their lead to secure Champions League football next year.

A top four finish will be worth £50 million to the club, alongside broadcasting revenue. Should Mikel Arteta guide his squad to the top tier of European football, he could be rewarded with a bigger transfer budget in the season ahead. The North London side have been away from the Champions League for five years, and could finally make a comeback in 22/23.

Some of the players in the squad have clauses in their contract which would allow them to receive higher wages next season, if they achieve Champions League football. Moreover, bonuses worth up to £500,000 could be paid out to members of the playing squad for the achievement.

Arsenal have been in remarkable form over the last few games, and could extend it to the end of the season as well. This is a big comeback from the initial part of the season, where it looked like they were set for a disappointing campaign.

The extra income would allow Mikel Arteta to sign a world-class striker in the summer, as well as a midfielder. It would also aid in tying down Bukayo Saka to a new deal, which would add more value to the team when they arrive in the European top flight.
