Schwarzenegger confirmed that *Prey* and *Predator: Badlands* filmmaker Dan Trachtenberg wants him in the next *Predator* movie — the actor revealed this at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio, where he told fans: “They did an additional Predator and the director has been doing a great job of that. Now, he wants me to be in the next Predator. We’ve talked about it.”

## How Dutch’s Return Was Already Teased

This didn’t come out of nowhere. The final moments of the animated anthology film *Predator: Killer of Killers* revealed that Schwarzenegger’s Dutch survived his original encounter with the Yautja and is alive — being kept in a suspended animation chamber — clearly opening the door for his live-action return. Amber Midthunder’s Naru from *Prey* and Danny Glover’s Lt. Mike Harrigan from *Predator 2* were also featured alongside Dutch at the end of *Killer of Killers* — hinting at an epic animated crossover uniting the franchise’s three most iconic human protagonists. ## Why This Is Bigger Than It Sounds

The original 1987 *Predator* was both a commercial and critical success — it earned an Oscar nomination and $98.3 million worldwide [Steam](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3321460/Crimson_Desert/) on a reported $15 million budget, making Schwarzenegger the face of the franchise for a generation.

Crucially, Schwarzenegger confirmed that all three returning roles will be written to reflect his current age — not as if he’s still 40. [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimson_Desert) Intelligent, respectful, and actually exciting for fans who want realism alongside nostalgia.
