Arne Slot is set to become the new manager of Liverpool starting next season, as the replacement for Jurgen Klopp. The transfer has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano, which means it’s only a matter of time before the move is made official.
Liverpool initially offered a €9 million compensation to Feyenoord to sign Slot, but they had their offer immediately rejected. Now, they have reached an agreement with the coach and have also agreed a financial compensation with the Dutch club.

“I like the way his team plays football. All the things I hear about him as a guy, good guy. Some people I know know him, I don’t, but some people tell me he’s a really good guy,” Jurgen Klopp recently said when asked about Arne Slot.
“So good coach, good guy, looking forward for the club if he’s the solution. It’s not up to me to judge, but it all sounds really good to me.”
The Feyenoord manager also expressed his interest in the Liverpool job when asked about the possibility of a move. And now, it’s only a matter of time before we receive an official confirmation from both clubs about the appointment.
