Arnaut Danjuma will be signing for Everton on loan for the coming season. The player returned to Villarreal after his brief spell with Tottenham for the latter half of the 22/23 season. The forward barely played for the London club, and has now accepted a loan spell at Merseyside.

He will be joining them on a one-year loan deal, having already spoken to new manager Sean Dyche about the project and his role in it. The medical tests have been scheduled for the move to go through and an announcement confirming his arrival is expected over the weekend.

Villarreal will receive a loan fee worth £3.5 million for the 26-year-old who formerly played for Bournemouth in the Premier League. This past season, he only made nine Premier League appearances for Spurs, racking up a mere 162 minutes on the pitch while scoring a solitary goal.

The Dutchman has had history with Everton, after performing a dramatic U-turn during the January transfer window. He was supposed to join the Toffees, but ended up changing his mind and moving to Tottenham.

Arnaut Danjuma will be the second addition to Sean Dyche’s squad ahead of the coming season. He follows veteran Ashley Young, who joined the club on a one-year deal as well after leaving Aston Villa as a free agent.
