## A 15-Year Musical Bond

This isn’t just another film song — it’s a full-circle moment for Vishesh Films and Arijit Singh. Their relationship reportedly stretches back to *Murder 2’s* “Phir Mohabbat,” the song that first introduced Arijit’s voice to a generation. Since then, the collaboration has delivered some of Bollywood’s most iconic tracks, including “Tum Hi Ho” from *Aashiqui 2*, “Muskurane” from *CityLights*, the *Khamoshiyan* title track, the *Hamari Adhuri Kahani* title track, and “Pal” from *Jalebi*. All of these belong to the broader [Bollywood](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bollywood) music tradition of soulful, story-driven ballads that Vishesh Films has long been known for.

## The Film Itself

*Awarapan 2* brings together an ensemble cast led by Emraan Hashmi, alongside Disha Patani, Shabana Azmi, Surendar Vicky, Vijayant Kholi, and Atul Kumar. The film hits cinemas on **August 14, 2026**.
