Lionel Messi lifted the World Cup for Argentina in probably his last World Cup. The whole world celebrated with the little magician as he seemed fit to finish his career with at least 1 World Cup title. Messi was helped tremendously in his bid for the World Cup by his goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
Premier League club Aston Villa’s goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez made a terrific save with his leg in the last minutes of the tie when France’s Randal Kolo Muani shot into the goal. Martinez played a huge role in the penalty shootout as well. He saved Coman’s shot and Tchouameni shot wide of the goal as Argentina won 4-2 on penalties.
Martinez won the Golden Glove award at the World Cup 2022 for his outstanding tournament. And now, the current World Cup winning goalkeeper will come to Kolkata. He will come in June during the season break, as already reported earlier by News 18.

Satadru Dutta posted the picture of Martinez’s World Cup Golden Gloves on his social media. Then the speculation started as he spoke to Martinez’s manager. There’s a huge Argentine fan base in Kolkata so it will be a huge thing for football fans.
Sports organizer Satadru Dutta previously brought two-time World Cup winning Brazilian legend Kafuto Kolkata. Pele and Maradona, regarded as the Kings of Football, have also visited Kolkata due to his initiative. The city of joy has seen numerous footballers like Dunga, and Valderrama. So now it’s time for Martinez to visit Kolkata.
Emiliano Martinez will visit the Mohun Bagan Club during his visit to Kolkata, India on 4th July.
