Think your EV charge is free? Think again. While early adopters enjoyed promotional perks, the era of free power is mostly over. Networks now charge ₹8–₹18 per kWh. While some malls and offices absorb costs as amenities, public charging is now a standard utility. Expect to pay ₹250–₹500 for a full charge—still cheaper than petrol, but definitely not a free ride.
