Aranyer Prachin Probad
As the newest investigator in town, Jeetu Kamal is taking on the duty. The “Aparajito” breakout actor is getting ready for his next movie, “Aranyer Prachin Probad.” Leading parts in this detective thriller are played by Jeetu and Bangladeshi actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila, under the direction of debutante Dulal Dey.
“Aranyer Prachin Probad” has an official teaser out now, and Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Loknath Dey, and Silajit Majumder are among the other cast members in important parts. This movie marks the directorial debut of Dulal Dey, who authored the screenplay for Dev’s “Golondaaj”.
The interesting premise revealed by writer and director Dulal Dey promises a novel and captivating take on the detective genre. “My tale has a wide range of shades. My story’s hero is not like other heroes. He doesn’t really snoop around. In addition to being a medical student, he is an avid cricket player. His career as a detective began when he was unintentionally drawn into a mystery. However, he does share others’ passion of Bengali literature.”
Jeetu Kamal said, “I have been offered to play a detective role before this,” expressing his excitement for the part. I had the opportunity to portray Kiriti. However, Feluda or Byomkesh seems rather commercial in my opinion. Naturally, each performer gave a fantastic performance in their own right. This detective, though, is not like the others. He doesn’t really snoop around. I believed that playing this role would help me develop as an actor. Thus, I gave my consent.”
“Aranyer Prachin Probad” has cinematography by Pratip Mukherjee, who is well-known for his work on films including “Raktabeej,” “Bhotbhoti,” and “Abar Bochhor Koori Pore.” His expert photographic direction ensures that the movie will have stunning visuals.

This upcoming Bengali Detective film will release on July 5.
