Apple’s WWDC 2024: Set for June 10 with Anticipated Reveals, Including Generative AI and iOS 18

Apple has just revealed the dates for its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) scheduled to kick off on June 10 this year and run through June 14. The event spanning four days promises a lineup of announcements from the tech giant headquartered in Cupertino.

In a statement to the press, Apple shared details of the event announcing that the WWDC will be held online from June 10 to 14, 2024. On June 10th attendees can look forward to an on-site event at Apple Park featuring a presentation, team interactions, and various engaging activities.

Apple’s considerable focus on AI has been apparent over time with CEO Tim Cook mentioning the company’s intentions on occasion. The company has actively been seeking talent for AI positions. Recently acquired DarwinAI as part of its dedication to this field. While there is speculation about Apple discussing AI during the conference it is worth noting that no official confirmation has been made by Apple yet.

Additionally, Apple is set to reveal versions like iOS 18 iPadOS 18 improvements for watchOS, and the latest macOS update at WWDC 24. The company highlighted in its announcement that the event will feature progressions in iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS providing developers with a glimpse of tools, frameworks, and functionalities.

Recent reports suggest that Apple is developing its own GenAI features for integration into future iPhone 16 models. Significant changes are anticipated for iOS 18, potentially including expanded home screen customization options and an enhanced Siri experience.
