Instead, reports indicate that Apple has been working on its own, in-house Antenna-in-Package (AiP) for the 2021 iPhone line up. And if sources are to be believed than the new AiPs will also bring 5G mmWave support to next year’s iPad Pro units.

The dates and quarter of the new iPad Pro release is not yet revealed by the company, but according to sources and various insider information’s; the Cupertino giant will most likely release the new model in first half of 2021. But the information is still in fog and has to be taken with a pinch of salt. But nonetheless with Apple launching its M1 chipset and now working on its AiPs, it seems that the iPhone maker is trying to become more and more self-dependent.
