According to a recent rumour, the iPad mini 7 will have an LCD display and the M3 iPad Pro will have an OLED one. The company is anticipated to introduce its new M3 processors next year along with the release of updated iPad Pro and MacBook Air models, even though the current chips are more than capable.
Apple intends to introduce the new M3 iPad Pro models in the spring of 2019. The M3 chip will be based on TSMC’s 3nm architecture, further enhancing the iPad Pro’s capabilities. The iPad Pro will be significantly faster than previous models thanks to the 3nm processor.
The M3 iPad Pro will reportedly have an OLED panel for better colours and sharper images, according to a leaker on Twitter. According to earlier rumours, the 12.9-inch and 11-inch iPad Pro models would both use OLED technology.
The iPad Pro lineup will not be the only device to use Apple’s M3 chip. The company will determine that the updated MacBook Air models should include the chip. Apple is reportedly developing a new 15.5-inch MacBook Air model, which is anticipated to debut on June 5 at the WWDC 2023 event. It was also claimed that the device won’t use an M3 chip, but rather Apple’s M2 chip.
The M3 iPad Pro is anticipated to be released in the first half of 2024.
This suggests that the company may either reveal the M3 iPad Pro with an OLED panel at its Spring event or at the WWDC event the following year. One of the best video and photo editing tablets available might be the iPad Pro thanks to its OLED display.
The iPad Pro would perform at a level comparable to a desktop computer thanks to the M3 chip’s processing power, which was made using TSMC’s 3nm process.
Currently, the mini-LED panel found on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro offers greater brightness and deeper blacks than LCD panels. OLED displays would help prolong battery life as they use less power and produce more accurate colours and deeper blacks.
