Apple’s ‘Let Loose’ Launch: May 7 Event to Unveil 2024 iPad Air, iPad Pro, and New Apple Pencil

Apple will be holding its next hardware event – its very major launch event of 2024 – known as Let Loose on official Apple channels next month. Again, no further hint or clue about what how the event will be jammed with launches is provided.

However, it will definitely be graced by the next-gen iPad Pro and iPad Air, and there might be a gadget called the Apple Pencil. Reportedly, the next-gen iPad Pro will be the launch pad of the M3 chip, while others have agreed too that the tablets will make an OLED debut.

More About Apple’s ‘Let Loose’ Launch

Apple has already sent out invites for the event, which will take place at 7 a.m. PT on May 7. The livestream will be accessible through Apple’s website and Apple TV app. The event’s tagline, “Let Loose,” is depicted alongside a hand holding an Apple Pencil in the promotional poster, hinting at a focus on the iPad lineup and possibly innovative features or capabilities to be showcased.

The event should also see the launch of new iPad Air and iPad Pro models, with the latter likely being OLED and featuring the new M3 chip. This includes even thinner bezels, glossy and matte screen variants, or possible MagSafe wireless charging, among others. Cameras may also receive a refreshed setup, and it is claimed they will feature landscape-oriented front cameras.

It is almost certain that the iPad Air will come with those cameras and run on the M2 chip. The device will come with variants of 10.9 inches and 12.9 inches. It is also highly probable that Apple will introduce a better Magic Keyboard, and the Apple Pencil will come with a new squeeze gesture. The May product launch event is a prelude to Apple’s software-focused Worldwide Developers Conference that will commence on June 10. Such a lineup ensures that the audience gets new things to be excited about the products even as Apple showcases continued dedication to both hardware and software.
