There are plenty of reports on the upcoming iPhone 12 as well as its charger. If you notice carefully, in the Android market, the companies are competing with each other on the basis of their improves fast charging technologies. More or less all these companies are presenting their 100+W chargers. On the other hand, there is still confusion about whether Apple will provide a charger with its upcoming iPhone 12 or not. There are also some reports about Apple’s 20W charger.
Recently the previously reported 20W iPhone charger has been certified by the Chinese certification company 3C. The charger comes with 5V 3A and 9V 2.2A output, and also has USB Type C port along with USB Power Delivery support. It also can charge your old iPhones with 18W USB PD.
Along with the 20W charger, 3C also certified a 5W charger of Apple as well. For this, lots of questions arise. The most common one is – if the company has planned not to provide chargers inside the iPhone boxes, then why they are going for this new 5W charger?
It may possible Apple will provide only 5W slow chargers with their iPhones and whoever will need fast charging they have to but the 20W charger separately. We have to wait until the official announcement arises.
