The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2022) will be held virtually from June 6 to 10. According to the latest rumors, there will be a limited number of people in attendance. The keynote will be pre-recorded, however certain developers will be allowed to attend the event in Cupertino at Apple Park 1 Infinite Loop.
The invites have already begun to arrive for the few lucky developers and engineers who applied online. “Apple’s health and safety regulations” must be followed by engineers and developers attending the Apple WWDC 2022 event in person. A negative COVID-19 test is included in these methods. At the event, though, masks are not required.
Apple is expected to make big UI improvements in iOS 16 and iPadOS 16
According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, iOS 16 will have significant notification improvements. The Health app could benefit from the iOS 16 update as well. The company may also release a new medicine management function that allows customers to scan pill bottles into the app. The iPad’s multitasking interface will be improved in iPadOS 16.
Apple could also reveal macOS 13, currently codenamed Rome. It will almost certainly have improved and redesigned notifications. Users may also be able to move widgets around on the home screen as they see fit. Apple is likely to make upgrades to the Universal Control function.
Although tvOS 16 is expected to be announced at the event, little information has been released so far. Apple, on the other hand, is anticipated to release watchOS 9 this year with “significant enhancements to activity and health tracking.” The upgrade could be aimed at lowering battery consumption by introducing a power-saving mode. In this update, Apple may potentially include additional training modes.
