Apple set to open its first-ever India company-owned-and-operated store in Mumbai on the country’s 76th Independence Day

According to the latest information coming from the Cupertino, California-based iPhone maker, it will be opening its first store in India on the country’s 76th Independence Day, i.e., on August 15, 2022. it also announced that its first Indian company-owned and operated store in the country will be opened in the city of dreams that is in Mumbai.

“Apple has decided to open its first store on 15th August next year.”

after the company has successfully started the operations of its Mumbai store, the Cupertino giant will launch the next store in New Delhi, and Apple plans to open three more stores in the coming years, one each in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai.

The company posted a June quarter record revenue of $81.4 billion, up by 36% year-over-year.

“Apple is reporting a very strong quarter with double-digit revenue growth across our product and services categories and in every geographic segment. We set a new June quarter revenue record of $81.4 billion, up 36% from last year, and the vast majority of markets we tracked grew double digits, with especially strong growth in emerging markets, including India, Latin America, and Vietnam.”

this month marks the completion of the 10th anniversary of Tim Cook as Apple’s CEO and he took the company to new heights with its inventory over 1000% and the company is ready to step into the field of AR and VR.

In India, Apple’s growth trajectory has been impressive across all product categories for three consecutive quarters. In the first quarter of this year, Apple was the number one premium brand with a 48% share of the smartphone market in the price segment of more than Rs 30,000.
