Apple to soon launch its 11.1-inch and 13-inch OLED iPad Pro Models

We recently learned that Apple has scrapped plans to release a 14.1-inch iPad Pro with a mini-LED display. In comparison, we now know that Apple is working on 11.1-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro devices with OLED displays for 2024.

Apple is developing 11.1-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro devices with OLED displays, according to Ross Young of MacRumors. The next iPad Pro models are scheduled to be released in 2024, and a few more alterations are possible. With the larger display sizes, we may expect thinner bezels and a shift in the tablet’s overall form factor.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumours of an iPad Pro with an OLED display. The 11.1-inch and 13-inch display sizes, on the other hand, are heard for the first time. Currently, the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro has a mini-LED display, while the 11-inch iPad Pro has a standard LCD display. Both models use Apple’s M2 processor, which improves CPU and GPU performance.

If Apple decides to use OLED panels in future iPad models, the display quality difference between the two devices will be closed.

In addition to the OLED display, Apple will replace the iPad Pro models with new CPUs for improved performance and battery life. Since Apple updated the iPad Pro models in October of this year, we anticipate that no new versions will be released until 2024. We haven’t heard anything yet about an 11-inch iPad Pro with a mini-LED display. This suggests that the smaller model will go directly from LCD to OLED technology.

We’ve also heard that Apple is developing OLED displays for future iPad and MacBook models, which are expected to debut in 2024. As previously stated, Young believes that Apple’s intention to release a 14.1-inch iPad Pro in 2023 is no longer feasible.
