Apple Music now officially available on the web interface

After being in beta phase for a long time, Apple Music has finally paved its way officially to the web-based platform. Through music.apple.com, Apple Music’s 60 million subscribers can access their streaming collection through any browser.

It offers the same experience to the Mac version of the Music app with sections like “For You,” “Browse,” and “Radio” along with playlists, recommendations and much more. But it does not offer users access to their own library of music like Google Play Music.

Apple Music now officially available on the web interface

You can sign in to the platform with your Apple ID that has an associated ‌Apple Music‌ subscription which you’ll have access to 60 million songs which are limited to Apple’s preferred lossy AAC format. You can easily your playlist content, personal mixes and recommendations like in other music apps.

The web-based ‌Apple Music‌ content plays right through the web browser, thus, providing you access for an array of devices and platforms which do not have native Apple Music app support, including Windows 10, Linux, and Chrome OS.

If you are not an existing Apple Music subscriber can sign up for a free three-month trial of the service through the web interface as well although you’ll still require an Apple ID. After the trial, you can opt-in for the individual, family, or student plans if you want to continue.
