Among a lot of devices that the Cupertino giant is set to unveil today, Apple is said to launch a new Mac Mini/Mac Pro Hybrid i.e. Mac Studio. This will be more powerful than the Mac mini but not be as humongous sized as the Mac Pro and is confirmed by the reliable Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman.

Also, the YouTuber Luke Miani shared renders of what he claims is the “Mac Studio,” showing a Mac mini like device but is very thick, still having a portable form factor. This Mac Studio will have a square-shaped design, rumored to be four inches tall and will have a more robust thermal design than you have seen on a Mac mini.

As every other media outlet points out this new hybrid Mac Studio could well be the new replacement for high-end ‌Mac mini‌ and well be an alternative for those who cannot or would not be able to buy the expensive/over-kill Mac Pro. It is expected that this upcoming Mac Studio could feature Apple’s newly announced M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.

Not only this, but Apple will also announce a new External Display rumoured to be called “Studio Display” which is signalled as a ready-to-go product, so everyone’s hopeful of an announcement tomorrow. Miani has said that the Studio Display will feature a 27-inch display with slightly thicker bezels than the Pro Display XDR.

Interestingly, this so-called Studio display will run on iOS featuring a built-in A-series chip and act as a more affordable solution to Apple’s very expensive $5k Pro Display XDR. You do not have to wait much longer to see these new devices in action as few hours are left for the Peak Performance Apple Event to kick in at 11:30 PM IST.
