Apple is said to be working on a low-cost iPhone SE (2022) with a 5G connection as well as a new iPad Air 2022, all of which are expected to be unveiled at the company’s next event in March. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple virtual event will begin on Tuesday, March 8, and will set the stage for the upcoming iPhone SE and fifth-generation iPad Air. There may, however, be room for one new Mac model.
At least one new Mac model is slated to arrive this spring, according to the Power On newsletter (via MacRumors). This could be a new Mac mini with M1 Pro or M1 Max CPUs, although it’s possible that this won’t happen until later this year. Gurman claims that numerous Macs using M2 CPUs, including a redesigned MacBook Air, an iMac, and a Mac Pro, will be revealed in 2022.

Apple to bring new M2 powered Mac Models along with iPhone SE for its next Virtual Event on March 8th 2022
While the list of new Apple devices is enticing, it’s best to take everything with a grain of salt. The Cupertino tech giant was widely expected to start its spring event in March 2021, but the Apple Spring Loaded event didn’t take place until April. Gurman, on the other hand, debunked rumours of the event taking place in March of last year and is considered to have a strong track record.
The iPad Air 5 is rumoured to be packed with a fast A15 Bionic processor, 5G compatibility, and a 12MP ultra-wide front camera with the iPad Pro’s Centre Stage function, similar to the updated Apple iPad mini 6. Expect it to resemble the immensely successful iPad Air in appearance (2020).
The iPhone SE 2022 could get a similar upgrade, with a faster processor (A14 or A15 Bionic) and 5G support. The new iPhone will have the same 4.7-inch display as the current model and the iPhone 8. If these new Apple products are released on March 8, only time will tell. Gurman predicts that fall 2022 would witness the “widest selection of new hardware goods in its history,” as previously reported. Four iPhone 14 models, including a new iPhone 14 Max, a low-end MacBook Pro and revised MacBook Air, new iMac and Mac Pro, a renovated low-end iPad and a new iPad Pro, three Apple Watch models, and the long-rumoured Apple AirPods Pro 2 are among the products announced.
