Apple looking to introduce new products based on its silicon in the coming months

Earlier, we have reported that the Apple iMac Pro was removed from sale, and now we hear reports that two storage configuration options have also been taken away from the iMac sales page. According to sources, a 21.5-inch iMac with a 4K display has been left with a choice of either a 256 GB SSD for storage or a 1 TB Fusion Drive.

However, earlier, we had options for a 512 GB SSD and 1 TB SSD, but this is no longer the case. The Cupertino giant has an Apple event which is expected to shoot off in April, and many speculate that new devices powered by the company’s silicon will be displayed. We could also hear the announcement of either an M1X or M2 ARM-based SoC.

According to a YouTube channel, Max Tech, there will be a new iMac on the show by the end of next month, with M1X devices coming in the second half of the year. We also have heard the reports that the new MacBook Pro 14 and MacBook Pro 16 laptops have suffered from production delays.

Famous YouTube content creator, Linus Sebastian, has been revealing the reasons behind the current chip shortages, which include too much demand coming from regular consumers as a direct consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, Apple introduced its highly praised Apple Silicon in November 2020, with the production of the M1 chip and related devices carried out during some of the worst periods of the coronavirus, and the company has been delivering to its consumers so far.
