This official rollout doesn’t come with all of the features available. Here are things we can expect from the first set of features, including phone call and audio note transcription in the voice memo iPhone app, AI writing tools including proofreading, rewriting, and summarising, email prioritization of smart replies, and notification summary containing photo cleanup.
Users can also invite a photo prompt that allows them to create memories through text. Meanwhile, a redesigned light-up Siri allows us to type our requests. In 2022, new features will include ChatGPT integration, Genmoji for custom emojis, Image Playground to generate images, and Siri to understand personal context.
To access the Apple Intelligence features with the iOS 18.1 update, go to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and select the iOS 18 public beta option. You’ll soon find the iOS 18.1 update available on your device. To enable the Apple Intelligence features, navigate to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri > Join the Apple Intelligence waitlist.
