Apple launched its new MacBook Pro models with M3 chips: pricing, details and specification

A new MacBook Pro range with the newest generation of M3 CPUs was announced by Apple today. The lineup consists of two models: a 14-inch and a 16-inch model, both available in space black and silver.

The new MacBook Pro models with M3 chips comes up with 128GB of RAM, the maximum amount of RAM that Apple has yet to offer, can be placed with the M3 Max chip. In the meantime, models equipped with M3 and M3 Pro CPUs come with up to 24GB and 36GB of RAM, respectively.

These versions come after Apple’s earlier release of MacBook Pro variants with M2 processors. Based on TSMC’s 3nm process technology, the new chips have up to 16 CPU cores, 40 GPU cores, and 16 Neural Engine cores. Up to 1TB of SSD storage is available.

The M3 chip-equipped 14-inch Apple MacBook Pro is said to have a battery life of up to 22 hours, while the M3 Pro and M3 Max variants have a maximum of 18 hours. Moreover, the larger 16-inch MacBook Pro model with M3 Pro and M3 Max CPUs offers up to 22 hours of battery life.

In India, the MacBook Pro 2023 variants can now be bought. The 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M3 CPU costs at 1,69,900 rupees. Should you choose the 14-inch variant with the M3 Pro chip, it starts at Rs. 1,99,900. The 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M3 CPU, which starts at Rs. 2,49,900, is a good option for people seeking a larger screen. The colors Space Black and Silver are your options.
