If your Apple subscriptions felt a little pricier this week, you weren’t imagining it. Days after hiking AppleCare+ costs for Mac and iPad, Apple has quietly raised prices for [Apple Music](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Music) and Apple One across India, the US, the UK, and parts of Europe. The company points to rising music licensing costs as the reason — and no new features have been added to soften the blow.

## New Apple Music & Apple One Prices in India

| Plan | Old Price | New Price |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Apple Music Individual | Rs 119/month | Rs 139/month |
| Apple Music Family | Rs 179/month | Rs 229/month |
| Apple Music Student | Rs 59/month | Rs 69/month |
| Apple One Individual | Rs 175/month | Rs 195/month |
| Apple One Family | Rs 235/month | Rs 295/month |
| Apple One Premier | Rs 899/month | Rs 995/month |

## What You’re Actually Paying For

The Individual Apple Music plan still gets you ad-free access to over 100 million songs, offline downloads, Spatial and Lossless Audio, expert-curated playlists, and Apple Music Classical. The Family tier extends all of that to up to six people via Family Sharing, while the Student plan remains the cheapest way in — and now bundles Apple TV+ at no extra cost.

Apple One, meanwhile, bundles Music, TV+, Arcade, iCloud+, Fitness+, and News+ (availability varies by region) into one subscription, and its three tiers all just got costlier.

It’s worth noting Apple isn’t alone here — Spotify also raised its Individual and Family plan prices in several markets earlier this year, signalling a broader trend across streaming services.
