Apple is preparing to launch its own search engine

It seems that Apple is working to form its own search engine, obviously for its own devices. An online report highlighted several moves of Apple that supports this assumption. Still, Google pays a very good amount to the Cupertino giant to remain it’s devices’ default search engine.

A report by Coywolf pointed out several indicators of Apple. Firstly, the tech giant spotter earlier opening job opportunities for search engines. That listing specifies the integration of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing in the service.

Next, in the iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 Beta, the Spotlight Search bypasses Google Search to serve search results.

By analyzing these two, Coywolf is guessing that Apple’s new search engine could be a personalized data hub without ads and “completely private”. The system may also use AI and ML for generating search results. The results will vary based on users’ contacts, documents, email, events, files, messages, maps, music, notes, news, photos, reminders, TV shows, and movies.

We have to wait for now, as there are no official announcements. If the expectations come true, no doubt it will try to end the monopoly of Google Search.
