Regarding the current COVID -19 situation, the global release of the Apple iPhone 12 series has already been delayed. It is expected that the series will get released in October 2020.
Whatever we know till now about the upcoming series is that there will be four iPhones in that series. The devices would be called the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. But suddenly a piece of news leaked online that there might be another device which will be added in the 12 series by Apple, expected to be iPhone 12 Mini.
This kind of ‘Mini’ name is expected because the leak suggests that the upcoming member of that series will feature a 5.4-inch display, like the older iPhones. As the display is comparatively smaller, we can assume that the device will be named as the iPhone 12 Mini. Previously, Apple has added this ‘Mini’ name multiple times in its devices. That’s why it will not be a strange thing for Apple.
There is no confirmation about the specifications of this upcoming iPhone 12 Mini from the officials. According to the reports, Apple is expected to release the upcoming new iPhones as early next week or early October seems to be more realistic.
The pricing of the iPhone 12 Mini is also not confirmed yet. As of now, we can assume that this device will be sold at the US $500. If this becomes true, then for an iPhone in this price range will undoubtedly disrupt the mid-range market. As of now, that’s all we’ve got about this mysterious member of the iPhone 12 series.
