New leaks have surfaced, revealing some of the key specifications of the upcoming and highly anticipated Apple iPhone 15 Pro. While the device has yet to be announced, new CAD renders reveal a few key details such as a single volume button and a solid-state mute button.
The awaited iPhone 15 Pro will feature a single unified volume button rather than two separate volume up and volume down buttons, according to new CAD files shared by chenwen1987 on Douyin- a video sharing platform in China.
Apple is expected to include a solid-state mute button in the iPhone 15 series.
According to reports, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will retain the current mute switch, while the taptic volume and lock button will be reserved for the Pro models.
We saw a report earlier this year that stated Apple was looking to replace physical volume and power buttons with solid-state versions with built-in Taptic Engine. Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known Apple analyst, made this prediction.
There have been numerous rumours about the iPhone 15 series in the past. Ice Universe, a popular leaker, also shared CAD renders of the iPhone 15 Ultra in full glory last month. According to his renders, the iPhone 15 Ultra could be 11.84mm thinner than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The camera bump is included. The iPhone 15 Ultra’s camera bump will most likely be thinner than that of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The yet-to-be-released iPhone 15 series is expected to include Sony’s new camera sensor, which features photodiodes and transistors in separate layers. It essentially produces well-lit photos even in difficult lighting conditions.
According to Kuo, the Apple iPhone 15 will have optimised performance for fast charging with Apple-approved USB-C. This means you’ll need to buy a new adapter and an Apple-approved Type-C cable to charge your iPhone 15 properly.
