Apple iPhone 15 Pro Rumored to Feature Thunderbolt Port

Apple‘s forthcoming coming- generation iPhone 15 Pro models are likely to feature a Thunderbolt harborage for high- speed data transfer. According to Apple critic Ming- Chi Kuo, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models will feature a USB- C harborage with support for at least USB3.2 or Thunderbolt 3.

Apple launched its Lightning connector in 2012, replacing the 30- in wharf connector. The Thunderbolt harborage will help iPhone druggies to transfer large lines as it’s anticipated  to offer a performance boost and briskly data transfer speed.

Kuo also claimed that Apple was planning to replace the clickable volume and power buttons with solid- state buttons for iPhone 15 Pro models. He’d said that the buttons could serve just like the iPhone 7’s solid- state home button, which druggies can not physically press but vibrates in response to touch.

Thunderbolt 3 theoretically offers bandwidth of over to 40 Gbps, while the Lightning connector has USB2.0 pets of over to 480 Mbps on all being iPhone. Indeed with real world performance limitations, an iPhone 15 Pro with a Thunderbolt- enabled USB- C harborage would offer significantly briskly data transfer pets with a Thunderbolt string, making it important quicker to get large lines on and off of the iPhone, similar as 48- megapixel ProRAW prints.

Indeed if the iPhone 15 Pro models only get USB3.2 support, that would mean theoretical transfer pets of between 5 Gbps and 20 Gbps depending on the exact specification, which would still be significantly faster than Lightning.

Like the 10th- generation iPad, Kuo said the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will remain limited to USB2.0 pets, despite switching to a USB- C harborage. AirDrop would remain an option for faster wireless data transfers on these bias.
