## Three Upgrades That Actually Matter

The biggest change is memory — unified memory jumps from 8GB to **12GB**, a 50% increase that enables faster on-device Apple Intelligence processing, smoother multitasking, and better handling of heavier creative workflows. The 16-core Neural Engine accelerates AI tasks across productivity and creative apps directly on the device.

Connectivity gets a meaningful boost too — the N1 wireless chip brings Wi-Fi 7 replacing Wi-Fi 6E, while the C1X cellular modem in connected models is Apple’s latest, most efficient silicon — the same chip debuting in the iPhone 17e. Real-world browsing, cloud syncing, and streaming all benefit noticeably.

The third win is value. Despite everything above, the starting price is unchanged from the M3 model — buyers get faster silicon, more RAM, and better wireless for exactly what they’d have paid last year. As TechnoSports has noted, no [OLED](https://technosports.co.in/?s=OLED) and no ProMotion — those remain iPad Pro exclusives — but the M4 Air now occupies the space the old Pro used to, at a fraction of the cost.

Magic Keyboard starts at ₹26,900 and Apple Pencil Pro at ₹11,900, completing a versatile productivity setup.
