The American Multinational Company, Apple decided to replace its AirPods Pro for free after facing tons of negative feedback. The company has accepted that a design flaw is noticed in AirPod Pro.

Apple created a support page for the customers who are holding those crackling earphones. Most of the complaints are about the noise cancellation is not working properly. The company said that the affected earphones were made before October 2020.

Apple declared that the company itself or the authorized providers will replace the defective products, only if the below two faults are noticed:

  • “Crackling or static sounds that increase in loud environments, with exercise or while talking on the phone.”
  • “Active Noise Cancellation not working as expected, such as a loss of bass sound, or an increase in background sounds, such as street or airplane noise.”

The company will replace the earphones without any cost, only if one of the above two issues is determined in any or both the AirPods. This policy is only applied for AirPod Pro models and it lasts for two years after you buy. This exchange program will not extend warranty coverage.

If you face any of the described faults, you can visit the official page of Apple to contact an authorized service provider or make an Apple Retail Store Appointment.
