Apple’s ‘Scary Fast’ Event Set to Unveil New iMacs and MacBooks in Highly Anticipated Launch

Apple has sent out invitations for its forthcoming “Scary Fast” event, generating considerable anticipation for the unveiling of new iMacs and MacBooks by the end of this month. The event is scheduled for October 30th at 5 PM PT, and it will be available for live streaming on Apple’s official website, apple.com.

The Upcoming Apple Event with New iMacs and MacBooks

While Apple has remained tight-lipped about the event’s specifics, it is widely speculated to be a Mac Launch event. Nevertheless, the exact product lineup remains undisclosed. Worth noting is that the event’s 5 PM PT timing corresponds to a rather unconventional 5:30 AM on October 31st for Indian viewers.

Anticipated releases include an updated version of the 24-inch iMac, in accordance with previous reports. The 2021 24-inch iMac is currently powered by the M1 chip and offers a choice of seven distinctive color options, boasting a 4.5K retina display with 500 nits peak brightness.

Notably, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has hinted at the possibility of a larger Pro version of the iMac arriving sometime in late 2024 or 2025. In contrast, industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously suggested the launch of the new 24-inch iMac in the coming year, with speculation about these new Mac products debuting the M3 chip, as indicated in Gurman’s report.

On a different note, Gurman’s report dispels any prospects of new iPad models from Apple in the current year. Instead, fresh iPad models are anticipated to be unveiled around March 2024.
