Apple’s Arcade was launched by the Cupertino giant back in September 2019. and it nearly took the company two whole years to provide its subscribers with a whopping 200 titles to choose from. The news was first reported by CNET, and this is a milestone achieved by Apple. The company recently launched Super Leap Day, Super Stickman Golf 3+, and Monster Hunter Stories+, on its platform.

On Apple Arcade, all the games offered by the Cupertino giant are free and there are no in-app purchase options or ads. The whole price of the service is $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year, and with that subscription price, all members of the family can access games.

Apple is also offering a one-month free trial for anyone, and a three-month free trial for those who purchase an Apple device, and Cupertino also advertises promotions for longer trial periods.

The iPhone maker has been working with both indie developers and big-name gaming companies to make titles for its Apple Arcade‌ platform since the service was first launched. In April of this year, Apple began to re-release some of the classic titles like Fruit Ninja, Monument Valley, Mini Metro, Threes, and more. And this was the final push the service needed. Since then, the curve has only gone up.

For those who don’t know, ‌Apple Arcade‌ titles can be played on iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple TVs, and most of the games are designed to support controllers, even supporting the PlayStation and Xbox controllers. The service is available in more than 150 countries.

The new titles added by Apple to its Arcade platform to achieve the 200 milestones and which will also be coming shortly include “MasterChef: Let’s Cook,” “Layton’s Mystery Journey+,” “Asphalt Airborne 8+,” “Baldo The Guardian Owls,” “Tetris Beat,” and “Wurdweb.”
