You may know Apple allowed the Indian customers to only choose from the Mac variants that are pre-configured. They didn’t have an option to configure it at the purchase time. But now, after a huge request, Apple is giving the opportunity for custom configuration in India.
Apple is now offering the configure-to-order or build-to-order option for its full range of Mac products. So, the Indian customers can now get their lovable Mac with the exact hardware specification they need. It will also help to prevent unnecessary expenses.
Interested one can communicate with the nearest Apple Authorized Reseller to place the order. They need to inform about the required configuration of iMac, MacBook Air, Mac Mini, or others first. Once the order placed, the company will deliver the product in the next four to five weeks.
Though Apple’s custom configuration opportunity is new for Indians, in some other countries this is already implemented. It not only helps customers to optimize the send amount, but also allow them to get extra storage, graphics, RAM, or some other if required. This move may attract Indians more towards Apple.
Enabling this customization opportunity in India is a preparation activity for Apple as it is going to start its online store this year. The process is in progress still now.
