Netflix’s *Apex* is a visual masterpiece held back by a hollow script. While Charlize Theron dominates with jaw-dropping, self-performed climbing stunts, Taron Egerton’s villain falls flat, lacking any real menace. Director Baltasar Kormákur captures breathtaking Australian canyon vistas, yet the thin plot fails to keep pace. It is a gorgeous, breezy watch, but ultimately lacks the grit of true survival cinema.
