AOC’s AGON PRO AG274QG QHD gaming monitor launched with a 240Hz refresh rate and G-SYNC ULTIMATE

Amsterdam, 27 October 2021 – A leading gaming monitor and IT accessories brand, AGON by AOC, expands its AGON PRO line-up aimed at competitive players and introduces the 27” AG274QG (QHD @ 240 Hz), a 4-side frameless monitor equipped with a fast IPS panel and VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification.

This monitor for esports enthusiasts offers ultra-low latency and features the NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer to measure total system latency. Thanks to the NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE support, the monitor guarantees lifelike HDR for immersive gaming without artefacts such as tearing or stuttering.

Legends of the gaming community have been waiting for this ultimate moment: the two factions of the universe join together for a better cause. Gaming at the competitive esports level requires high-refresh rates and extremely responsive displays. On the other hand, story-driven, slower-paced games with beautiful visuals are best enjoyed when enhanced by wide gamut HDR displays.

The AGON PRO AG274QG delivers a combination of all in a prestigious package: a high-speed and responsive panel (240 Hz and 1 ms GtG), QHD resolution, VESA certified HDR support (DisplayHDR 600) and NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE with Reflex Analyzer.

Gaming without compromises with the AGON PRO AG274QG

For most hardcore gamers and esports athletes who need the highest frames count per second they can get, but still don’t want to compromise on colour fidelity, the G-SYNC ULTIMATE monitor AG274QG is just perfect. The 27” AG274QG features a fast IPS panel with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) and a refresh rate of 240 Hz to deliver both incredibly detailed and butter-smooth gameplay. With a response time of 1 ms GtG, ghosting is virtually non-existent, and latency-aficionados can even measure their system latency thanks to the built-in NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer.

Together with a Reflex-supported mouse such as AOC’s GM500, the analyzer can give users instant feedback on the system latency. Rich, vivid images are also one of the AG274QG’s strengths. With 1.07 billion colours, a 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 area, the AG274QG also supports VESA DisplayHDR 600 to display eye-wateringly bright sunlight and scary deep shadows at the same time. The NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE validation means that the monitor employs a top-notch NVIDIA G-SYNC processor to guarantee lifelike HDR, excellent contrast and ultra-low latency for a spectacular, immersive gaming experience.

Awarded with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award, the AG274QG features a screen shield to minimise reflections and bright lights and is furthermore equipped with a 120 mm height-adjustable and versatile stand for comfortable gaming sessions. A 4-port USB 3.2 hub is built-in, to help gamers connect their peripherals such as keyboards, mice, streaming lights or webcams.

The monitor also features the RGB illumination (Light FX) and AGON logo projection introduced in previous AGON PRO models to increase personalisation. The QuickSwitch controller, a wired remote, makes it easy to adjust game-specific features in the OSD. To complete the audio-visual experience, the AG274QG comes with two 5 W speakers that support DTS for clear and rich sound.

The AGON PROAG274QG will be available from February 2022 onwards.
