AIFF allow Anwar Ali to resume play after one condition
Last year Anwar Ali had filed a petition against the recommendation of AIFF. Because the Federation suggested that the U-17 star should not play professionally, as it would jeopardise his health. Following his petition, the AIFF gave in and agreed to allow Ali to continue but on one condition. According to this condition the Indian footballer should understand the risk he faces. Also he constantly needs to be under monitor by a surveillance team.
Further, the AIFF cited their reason behind allowing Ali to play professional football in their executive committee meeting and released a statement. Based on the recommendation of the AIFF medical committee, the executive committee have asked former junior Indian International Anwar Ali to produce an affidavit claiming full responsibility, along with details of the medical precautions to be taken by him, and his prospective club to make him eligible to play competitive football.”
