New Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag is a huge fan of his former player Antony. He has always wanted to sign the Brazilian to strengthen the United attack. However, Ajax have been reluctant to see the 22-year-old. The Dutch side rejected an €80 million offer for the player and wanted more from the Premier League club.

It was rumoured that Manchester United would offer around €100 million as their next bid, but United bid €90 million bid for the player and as a result, Ajax rejected their last bid as well.

However, things have taken a sudden turn after Antony gave an exclusive interview with Fabrizio Romano and made his desire to leave Ajax this summer pretty clear.

So, now it has been reported that Antony’s transfer to Manchester United is imminent. The Red Devils will bid €100m for the Brazilian and Ajax are all set to accept the offer after Antony’s public appeal to let him leave and pursue the next step of his career.
