Brazilian winger Antony is on Manchester United’s radar for the current transfer window. Erik Ten Hag wants the player to join him in England, following his appointment as the new head coach of the Premier League side.
So far, an official bid has not been made by United. But, they are discussing Antony internally as a potential recruit for the summer. The player’s agent has not commented on the issue just yet, but Manchester United are hopeful of signing their target before the end of the window.

The youngster was recently rumoured to become the first signing for Erik Ten Hag at United. But the player’s brother put those rumours to rest, suggesting that it was fake news.
Since arriving at Ajax in 2020, Antony has been one of their best attacking players. He scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 33 appearances this past season, as Ajax won another Eredivisie title. The player is known for his outstanding skills on the ball, and is a prolific dribbler. Ten Hag himself has proclaimed the Brazilian to be an irreplaceable member of the current Ajax squad.
Frenkie De Jong of Barcelona is also another one of Erik Ten Hag’s potential targets. But, an agreement has not been struck between the two clubs as of yet. United are pushing to sign De Jong, but the absence of Champions League football is a detriment to their offer.
