Antonio Conte was appointed as the manager of Inter Milan just one season ago. He has done a good job at San Siro as they gave a serious fight for the Serie A title.
Inter finished the Serie A season just one point behind winners Juventus. So it clearly depicts Conte was leading the team in the right direction. He also signed some valuable players on loan (like Alexis Sanchez) and permanently (like Achraf Hakimi). Conte was very clear in his head about what needs to be done to make Inter one of the top European clubs once again.
But there has been a widespread rumour that Antonio Conte is all set to leave Inter after spending just one season at the club. According to a report by Sky Italy, Antonio Conte is on the verge of departing from San Siro. He is likely to be replaced by Massimiliano Allegri.
But why is Conte looking to leave Inter after a successful campaign?

🗣 “There’s no recognition of the work I’ve done, and I’ve found very little protection from the club. None whatsoever. There will be things to discuss with the president, but he’s in China right now…” pic.twitter.com/usguLZrrww
In the post-match conference after completing Inter’s Serie A season on Saturday, Conte complained about the support he’s received at San Siro. He said: “There’s no recognition of the work I’ve done, and I’ve found very little protection from the club. None whatsoever. There will be things to discuss with the president, but he’s in China right now.”
It seems Conte has made up his mind to leave Inter and has already decided to join his former club Juventus.

Voleva andare a Torino un anno fa. Nevded e Paratici erano d’accordo, non la proprietà. Ora ci sta riprovando, ma il veto sul suo nome resta
According to a report by La Repubblica journalist Franco Vanni, Conte has been in contact with people from his former club in the last few weeks having already pushed for a return to Turin last summer. Pavel Nedved and Fabio Paratici were happy to welcome Conte back last summer, however, it was the club owner who vetoed the decision and the same holds true today.
It’s going to be an interesting transfer saga with Conte at the centre.
