ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop with Ryzen 7 4800HS & RTX GPUs launched

ASUS was the first laptop vendor to bring AMD Ryzen 4000H powered gaming laptops to India in the form of the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 which is a massive hit in the country for its exceptional performance. But obviously, the build quality and other specs still remain on the downside especially the battery life, while its ROG Zephyrus G14 is a premium one with a low profile and featuring an efficient 4800HS or 4900HS processors for longer battery life.

According to News18 Tech, the Taiwan giant is planning to bring a premium gaming notebook powered by AMD Ryzen processors. Obviously there’s no model specified but they say that the source is reliable enough to be believed. News18 Tech is also speculating that this could be the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, which has already made its world debut this year and is widely available elsewhere.

It’s on the premium side because of its performance and design with ASUS’ AniME LED Matrix featured on the back of the laptop is a set of programmable 1,215 mini LEDs on the cover. The Zephyrus G14 is just 17.9 millimetres thick and weighs just 3.5 pounds i.e. 1.6Kg only, just a bit heavier than standard ultra-portable notebooks.

The Asus Zephyrus G14 is the first gaming laptop to ship with the anticipated Ryzen 9 4900HS APU. Also, the laptop features a 1080p display packed in a narrow-bezel 14-inch form factor along with up to Ryzen 9 CPU and up to a GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q GPU.

This info is not official but can be trusted mostly because India is a huge market for ASUS and the new AMD laptops are being loved by gamers so its obvious for the Taiwan giant to bring its more premium gaming laptop to the country. ASUS is the top gaming laptop brand in India with a 32.5% market share as per IDC, Q1 2020, so either the ROG Zephyrus G14 or some other gaming laptop with latest Ryzen CPUs are on the way.
