Amazon Studios has dropped the trailer of a strange film named Annette. The story of this film revolves around the daughter of Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard, who is raising the daughter who has a mysterious destiny.
It seems that the French filmmaker Leos Carax has come back with his feature movie from the critically acclaimed 2012 film Holy Motors for this latest musical. The original story and the film’s music was written by Sparks Brothers, who is Ron Mael, and Russell Mael for this movie. It had been chosen as the Opening Night selection at the 2021 Cannas Film festival on 6th July.
The trailer begins with Henry and Ann who are frolicking in the field. Henry is stating that the first time he fell in love he woke up next to the girl who escaped fast and far. It has been seen that Ann is eating an apple in bed when Henry is riding his motorcycle across Los Angeles. Ann is a very popular opera singer with Henry who is a stand-up comedian in Los Angeles and he has added that what he saw in her is actually what she sees in him which is a little more puzzling.
Henry, who is performing the role of a stand-up comedian with an incredible sense of humour, is observed to be performing on the stage before the birth of their daughter Annette. The doctor utilizes a large pair of scissors to clip the umbilical cord as the couple welcomes their first child.
The newborn was cradling with one arm by Henry when blowing cigarette smoke away from her in the background. The trailer shows many shots of Driver, Cotillard, and Simon Helberg, who performs the role of musical conductor known as The Conductor.
Then the popularity of Annette starts to rise beyond both Henry and Ann. The couple is literally seen running from a mob of fans. Some fans from the packed building say they love Annette after seeing the couple on a boat, and Ann replied that there is nothing that sacred you.
It has seen that Ann has just covered her face from the coming car accident while Henry has to lead to the Los Angeles County Jail. We will see that distraught Henry will tell Annette that everything will be all right in the final shots.
