Angel Di Maria could leave PSG in the summer as a free agent, if his contract isn’t renewed. So far, there has been no activity on the club’s end to extend his deal any further.

As a result, he now has chances to leave PSG and join a club of his choosing for no transfer fee. However, he hasn’t agreed anything with other clubs just yet and is waiting for the final proposal from the French club before making a decision.

Angel Di Maria’s future at PSG up in the air

Paris Saint-Germain have not proposed any contract extension to Angél Di Maria as of today. Situation still quiet, Di Maria has now huge chances to leave the club as free agent, as @CLMerlo confirms ⚠️🇦🇷 #PSG

The Argentinian joined PSG back in 2015 after a very disappointing first and only season with Manchester United. The Premier League club paid €75 million for the player, but was sold for €63 million the very next year after he failed to deliver.

Since then, Angel Di Maria has managed to revive his career to a great extent. He is now one of the key members of the PSG squad, and has scored some vital goals across the years. In 289 total appearances for the Parisians, he has scored 91 goals and provided 115 assists across all competitions.

He was also a key member of the Argentina squad that won the 2021 Copa America, scoring the decisive goal in the final to help his country lift their first trophy in years. Despite being 34 years old, Di Maria possesses a lot of quality when he is deployed in the right system. And with his years of experience at the highest level, he can be a great signing for any club if he chooses to leave.
