Angel Di Maria is set to join Juventus, after leaving PSG this week as a free agent. The winger decided to not renew with the French giants and let his deal run out so that he could move on from the club after spending seven years with them.

The player has accepted a one-year deal, according to reports in Italy with the option for another year included. The reported salary for the winger is set at around €8 million. As a result, he will be staying with one of the top clubs in the continent ahead of an important World Cup year.

The Bianconeri are finalising the details surrounding the move, and will confirm it in the coming days. Angel Di Maria will be the second signing for the club this summer, following the return of Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

The 34-year-old has been able to revive his career with PSG since leaving Manchester United in 2015 following a disappointing spell. And as a result, he has become one of the most underrated wingers in Europe.

Max Allegri will now be able to call upon his services to bolster a seemingly stagnating squad. This past season, the player made 31 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals while creating nine assists. So, he can bring a very real impact to the team when he joins them in the coming days.
