There has been a long-running argument between Android and iPhone. There are benefits and drawbacks to each side. Having said that, Android has a huge portfolio whilst iPhone has a small portfolio with only four phones coming year. Apple is anticipated to introduce its iPhone 15 series in September. Despite how far away the debut is, there is some good news for Apple and its supporters.

Android

A research from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) indicates that the majority of Android users are migrating to iPhones. In August of last year, Tim Cook said that the number of Switchers is at its peak, as Apple likes to call the people who switch to iPhone. You can find all the info right here.

The Whole Android-Apple Scenario!

According to a reveal, CIRP polled a number of iPhone users in March and discovered that 15% of customers had previously switched from Android to iPhone. After 2018, this is the first time CIRP has seen this many switchers. Prior to that, it was discovered that 16% of iPhone customers had switched from Android to iPhone in 2017. As of now, the highest percentage of switchers was recorded in 2016, when a staggering 21% of Android users switched to iPhones.

This demonstrates how many Android users switched to using iPhones after falling in love with them over the course of the previous year. In addition, 1% of feature phone users who shifted to iPhones directly, according to the report. Finally, about 83% of those polled upgraded their iPhones from an older model to a newer one. The number of Android users worldwide is enormous, according to a Statista analysis. According to this, iOS has a market share of only 276.8%, compared to an estimated 71.8% for Android. Apple will need some time to catch up to Android in terms of market share because this is far less than Android.

The Apple ecosystem is a major factor in why customers move to iPhones. The best feature of owning Apple products is being able to use any other device from the one you are holding. For instance, if you are wearing your Apple Watch, you can do a lot more without ever touching your iPhone, like answer calls, receive notifications, and more. The same is true for other Apple products.
