Wolves are set to complete the signing of Andre from Fluminense in the coming days. They have agreed a deal worth €22 million as a fixed fee with €3 million in add-ons for the defensive midfielder.
He will be the record sale for the 2023 Copa Libertadores winners, with the 23-year-old finally joining the Premier League. He was previously expected to sign for Fulham as the replacement for Joao Palhinha, who left to sign for Bayern Munich. However, Wolves have won the race for the midfielder instead.

The player was pictured in tears upon leaving Fluminense, having come up through the club’s academy. He has already bid his goodbyes and will soon travel to the Midlands to complete his medical and be officially announced as a new signing for Wolves.
Personal terms have already been agreed between the player and the club, and he will be their fifth new arrival of the summer. If Andre is able to adapt quickly, he could be a game-changing addition to the team, owing to his ability to command the defensive midfield position.
He has already started playing for the Brazil national team, and has earned five caps for the senior team so far.
