The AMD Ryzen 4000 processors have been a hit this year for the Red team, it has been unable to deliver to the huge surge in demand of these revolutionary mobile processors. Most laptops with these new APUs have become hot cakes and people have aware of AMD and its performance gains over Intel this year along with incredible efficiency.

If you are an AMD fan, then there’s some good news for you as the Red team is just not stopping with this success and plans to bring more unique products for its fans this year. Already the Ryzen 5000 desktop processors have been confirmed and now the next-gen mobile APUs have also been confirmed, codenamed as “Van Gogh”.

According to tipster @patrickschur_, the Van Gogh APUs will combine AMD Zen 2 CPU cores with RDNA 2 based Navi graphics consuming low-power APUs in the range of 7.5-18W TDP. Also the tipster points out the support for LPDDR5 RAM that can actually help the RAM hungry Ryzen chips for faster performance.

AMD’s Zen 2 architecture is very powerful and using it with the even powerful RDNA 2 graphics makes sense to stand against powerful Gen12 Intel Xe graphics which arrives next month with Intel Tiger Lake processors.

Most probably, Van Gogh mobile APUs will be answer to Intel’s Tiger Lake as it will be Zen 2 architecture only, however, the Cezanne Zen 3 APUs will be much more powerful on the CPU side but as per leaks, it has been spotted with the inferior Vega graphics rather than Navi. AMD is keeping its cards ready against Intel and the future of laptops seems more promising ever.
